Travel Spanish for Advanced Beginners
with Christine Ruiz de Luque
Our non-credit language enrichment classes are fun and relaxed, yet prepare you for where you want to go! Perhaps you wish to converse with your children who are learning a language in school, you’re meeting your son’s fiancé from Rome, or ordering at a Mexican restaurant. If you’ve done a little studying yourself, taken Christina’s beginner classes or other beginner language classes in the past, and want to dust off those old beginner skills, this class is a nice fit. Practicing and role-playing with fellow travelers will improve skills to meet people, ask directions, request travel assistance, barter at the market and practice typical dialogues and circumstances you might encounter. Gain travel insights about customs, etiquette and culture. Whether to Madrid, the Amalfi coast, Costa Rica, Tuscany, Capri, or the Chilean Andes, or back home ...you’re on your way! Ms. Ruiz de Luque was born in Argentina, living there for 20 years. She also lived and worked in Rome for 20 years, and taught languages in Paris for 10 years, after having worked extensively as a language coach and producer in international media in various European countries.
