Rooting Out Invasive Plants Field Workshop

with Samantha Wolf

Invasive species are organisms that are non-native to a particular area and cause harm to the environment where they are introduced. Under the guidance of Scarborough Land Trust Stewardship Director, learn how to identify and combat invasive plant species using non-chemical treatments. Be prepared to walk a short distance, potentially off the maintained trail. We recommend wearing long pants, comfortable footwear, and applying bug spray. Maximum of 10 participants. Your instructor has completed the Maine Forest Service's Invasive Plant Academy management planning course.
