Experience the exciting art of looking! When you draw, you learn to see things for the first time. Line, light and shadow, space, and perspective all come together to create an image. In this you class you will discover how each of these elements work to create a great piece of art! We will also use different tools including blending sticks, erasers, and mediums including pencil and charcoal. Please bring at least two graphite pencils: a 2B and 6B, and vine or willow charcoal. Paper provided by the instructor. Kyle Durkin, BA Studio Art, is an Adult Education instructor who enjoys helping new artists develop their skills. All sessions contain the same class content.
