What Tree is That?

with Amy Witt, Horticulturist

$15

Did you know that a large Oak tree can drop thousands of acorns in one year? Or that trees are able to communicate and defend themselves against attacking insects? Get to know the names and assets of some of Maine’s 66 native tree species and how to identify them. Fall is an excellent time to learn to identify native trees by their leaves and fruits, branch, and bark patterns. Enjoy a sunset walk on one of Scarborough's beautiful Land Trust trails and meet the trees.
