Scarborough Adult Learning Center

This 50 hour course prepares participants to work in home health care or residential settings. Personal care, communication skills, observing, reporting, and documentation are taught. How to provide care safely and deal with emergencies, consumer rights, aging, and illness are additional topics covered in class. English Language Learners enrolling should have CASAS Reading scores of 220 or above. Please contact our office at 730-5040 for an application and to arrange a CASAS Reading test. 

Classes are held on Thursdays, 3-8pm, and Saturdays, 7am-12 noon.
